Team 79 Krunch competes each season in FIRST® Robotics Competition regional events, and demonstrates robots at schools, libraries, and community events across the Tampa Bay area.
Our 2026 season
In the 2026 FIRST® Rebuilt season, Team 79 Krunch competed at the South Florida and Orlando Regionals, taking home the Gracious Professionalism® Award at Orlando for the spirit of helping and respect we bring to every competition.
Where to catch us
Robotics is a year-round program, and we love showing our robots off. Beyond competition season, you can find Team 79 Krunch across the Tampa Bay area:
ROBOTICON Tampa Bay
A big regional off-season event that brings FIRST® and VEX teams together each year. Team 79 Krunch competes there annually.
Rotary Car Show
We help the Rotary Club of East Lake Sunrise host Cruisin' The Park, their annual community festival and car show.
School & community demos
We bring our robots, including the crowd-favorite t-shirt cannon, to schools, libraries, museums, and community events across Pinellas, Pasco, and Hillsborough.
